Articles, interviews, photos and schedules related to Highland Games activities.
Highland games are festivals held throughout the year in Scotland and many other countries of the world as a way of celebrating Scottish and Celtic culture and heritage, especially that of the Scottish Highlands. Almost all of the Games feature the kilt, bagpipes, Highland dancing, and Scottish athletic events.
Photo: The joy is evident in the face of this young Highland dancer performing during the dance competition at the Skagit Valley Highland Games. There is more information about Highland dancing in the article of that name.
